Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and SystemDrill for use of systemdrill.com and related services. By creating an account or using the product you accept them. If you are using SystemDrill for an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
The service
SystemDrill provides system-design interview practice: personalized prep plans, timed mock interviews with an AI interviewer, scores against written rubrics, and optional resume deep dives. The product is practice software. It is not a hiring decision, an offer, legal advice, or a guarantee that you will pass a real interview.
Accounts
You must provide a real email address you control. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping the password and OAuth access safe. We may refuse, suspend or close accounts that look automated, abusive, or created to steal interview content.
Plans and billing
The free plan includes a limited set of scenarios and a monthly cap on graded mocks, as shown on the pricing page. Pro is a paid subscription billed through Creem, monthly or every three months. Prices on the site include the then-current rate; taxes may be added by the processor. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the period you already paid for. Chargebacks and payment failure can drop the account back to the free plan. Refunds are handled as required by applicable law and otherwise at our discretion.
“Unlimited” mocks on Pro is a product promise for ordinary human use. We still enforce an abuse cap so a script cannot drain the model budget.
Acceptable use
- Do not scrape, bulk-download, or republish scenarios, rubrics, transcripts or grader output.
- Do not probe, overload, or attempt to break authentication, billing, or other users’ data.
- Do not upload malware, or content that is unlawful, or that you do not have the right to share.
- Do not paste secrets, production credentials, or confidential employer or customer information into an interview or resume upload.
- Do not resell access or share a single paid seat as a public feed of answers.
Your content and AI output
You keep whatever rights you already have in answers, diagrams and resumes you submit. You grant SystemDrill a license to store, process and display that content as needed to run the product for you, including sending it to our model provider for interviewing and grading. Model output can be wrong, incomplete, or inconsistent. You are responsible for how you use it.
Our content
Scenarios, rubrics, site copy, branding and software are owned by SystemDrill or its licensors. Some scenario topics were researched from open-source lists; those sources are credited on the credits page and remain under their own licenses. You get a limited, revocable license to use the product for your own interview prep, not to copy the catalog into another product.
No warranty
The service is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that interviews will be available, that scores match any particular company, or that the site will be uninterrupted. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, SystemDrill is not liable for lost offers, lost profits, or indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, even if we were told they were possible. Our total liability for a claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim, or fifty US dollars if you are on the free plan. Some places do not allow these limits; in those places they apply only as far as the law allows.
Termination
You may stop using the product at any time. We may suspend or close access if you break these terms, if required by law, or if we shut the service down. Sections that should survive (including this limitation, acceptable use, and intellectual property) continue after the account ends.
Changes
We may change the product and these terms. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. If you do not, stop using the service and cancel any subscription.
